German

I m learning German as a part of my curriculum. Its an interesting language. Some words look the same like they appear in English but they differ in pronunciation. Here is the a,b,c,d in German. And German is called as DEUTSCH (pronounced as : doy-tsch) in German! All our names, of course, will sound very different if we try it in Deutsch!

 a ah j yoht s ess
 b bay k kah t tay
 c tsay l el u oo
 d day m em v fow
 e ay n en w vay
 f eff o oh x eeks
 g gay p pay y irp-se-lon
 h hah q koo z tset
 i ee r ehr
There is another letter in written German, ß (es-zet), pronounced like [s]. However, this letter is only used after long vowels or diphthongs, and it is not used at all in Switzerland.

All nouns take genders in Deutsch. For example, Coffee and tea take masculine genders, water is neutral. Dog is masculine whereas cat is Feminine. All days, months and seasons are masculine.

It all began in Plaza Hotel, New York City on the 10th of November 1983. Two Microsoft founders Paul Allen and Bill Gates officially announced their corporation's first and next-generation graphical user interface operating system – Microsoft Windows.

Despite the criticism on stability and constantly being compared to their rivals Apple Macintosh, Microsoft Windows is still the most widely used operating systems in the world.

Windows 1.01 (1985)

Officially released on November 20, 1985, this 16-bit OS that cost less than 1MB in overall is Microsoft's very first operating system that allows multi tasking with graphical user interface on PC platform that runs on MS-DOS 5.0.

Sixth Sense..a new amazing technology..

The movie 'Minority Report' depicts Tom Cruise - John Anderten using gestures to explore a particular piece of data.
The work by Pranav Mistry, of MIT media labs, is almost like the same, Sixth sense, an amazing new technology for those who wish to live like John Anderton, just making gestures to get things done. The system actually involves a pocket projector, a mirror and a camera. And all these coupled in a pendant like mobile device. The system works by tracking the users hand movements with colored markers at its tip. Sounds amazing. We can do what all we like to do. Taking photographs, reviewing it, checking email and the list goes on.
What if this sixth sense is sold out to public!
The result can be anything.

What is going to be the future? Where is technology leading us to?

My favourite lines..

I will appear to save the good, destroy the evil and to save the dharma..
